I don't have any hobbies or a gf so thinking of going on this course. Think the boss will fork out the money too

It's 2 years, 3.5 hours a week.

Anyone done the course before?

Completed my MCITP - Enterprise Administrator qualification and now a bit bored

I did it at college.

I found it pretty easy TBH.

Worth having if you want to pursue a career in networks.

It's worth doing i think. Plus, the new place i'm working for actually look after their staff.

Not much else worth while to do really, possibly a few more MCPs as they are released into the market and filtered through.

Meet new people etc.

Ian, does Clarence Street have a private car park or is it that NCP one around the back?

if your good at learning - great, but why do 3.5 hours a week for 2 years, by the time your exam comes youl have forgotten half of it?

why not just do it on a 1 week course? i started studying but it was too hard for me, and i got into unix

There's no college car park but you can park on street out the front after 6.

I;m doing my 4th CCNA semester at the moment, online.

Taking the final exams soonish.

It's good but accessing the WAN i'm finding really quite boring.

I'll be starting the fourth semester in Sept/Oct.

First 3 weren't too bad tbh, depends what level of knowledge you have to begin with I guess.

Worth it though.

I have a little about firewalls and a bit of a nerd when it comes to Server 2008 and Exchange 2007 some may argue.

You can John and then book the exam through Prometric.

However, i'll meet new people, be more motivated and as already mentioned - as i'm doing this over 2 years still gives me chance to get the MCP done for the likes of Windows 7 and Exchange 2010..

The windows 7 one you could go and sit today.

Exchange would take a bit of studying.

CCNA is more difficult but not 2 years worth.
