When Im braking from high speed especially I can feel a vibrating in the brake pedal and if im going fast enough; the whole car. It gets worse the faster im going and by worse I mean heavier, not faster.
I recently painted my calipers and had new wheels fitted if that's any help but I dont remember it after I had the wheels fitted, it was only noticable after I got the calipers painted.
Anyone got any ideas?

Warped discs, or unbalanced wheels

Loose wheel bolts would cause that as well. Get them checked asap.

What would cause disc warping? The wheels have been recently balanced so I doubt it's them plus they dont do It all the time. Could this have been caused by me getting hammerite in a place it probably shouldn't?

Heavy braking causes the disc to warp

Pretty hard to warp brake discs but the biggest cause of disc warpage is sitting with your foot on the brake after you have just stopped from high speed. This is due the discs being really hot and the area with the brake pads applied to it cools at a different rate..

Could also be a caliper sticking. Had this problem on mine a while ago and that was the fault

Its the same with mine atm. I presume it to be warped discs but ive not been bothered as ive got my old 2.0 set up to put on.
Dont think my brakes have been changed in a while, rubbing across the width of the disc feels like a ridge cut crisp
