apart from both require processing power and graphical processing... if you get a video recorder that can only manage to record at 1 or 2 fps - then it's likely it's because the cpu is so slow, its taking a long time to process each frame. In the reverse on playing video the same cpu would cause it to stream shite.
E71 for example seems to lack the processing power to stream vid smoothly, instead doing bits and then pausing briefly.

The 3G s has a better graphics processor than it's predescessor but it would still be possible to have a bad camera, it seems to have a good camera and processor though.

oh :/ well my phone produces better quality and larger pics than the iphone i just meant that the video quality looks really good
