every time i put petrol(b.p.ultimate) in mi red top it runs like a bag of shit.sum 1 told me change my octane plug any body had this b4:thumbs

Or don't use ultimate? it is a rip and doesn't make f-all difference.


I would rather lose by a mile because i built my own car, than win by an inch because someone else built it for me.

I use Ultimate and find it makes a difference. Not so much faster, more that it picks up more readily at low revs and makes the engine a bit more responsive. When I need to put regular in it feels more 'flat' if you know what I mean.

I understand you need to fill the tank up about two times for the engine to start adjusting to the higher octane fuel? But i agree the higher octane does feel smoother in the revs etc but not the speed.
