Hey people, ive been wanting to get past this problem for abit on the car. Its a corsa b 1.4 the gear stick is verry wobly and loose when i drive its anooying is that the linkage worn down ? and the gears are abit hard to get into and sometimes it grinds going into reverse do i need a new clutch ? ive ajusted the clutch so its the same level as the brake pedal and it made it abit better for abit then gone bad again help please

stretched clutch cable
worn pressure plates in the clutch
dodgy linkage
they could all be the problem so if you have the money swap them all!
i had a short shift on mine and loved it i'd recomend one of them

will be gear linkage bushes. get some nylon ones. i have a set on mine. sharpens it up a treat

where can you get these nlyon bushes mate? are they easy to replace? cheers

Ok thanks guys, im thinking of getting a quickshift its jsut having the £40 spare over for now ill replace the bushes and clutch for now thanks

woudnt bother with clutch do the bushes first. they make a world of difference if yours are shagged
