hi , for some reason i want my bonnet raising at the back

, just had an idea and wonderd how other people have done it , i was thinking if i get some bonnet mounts off another corsa and cut the flat piece with 2 holes off and weld it to my original bonnet mounts would that raise it the 1 inch or so and fit normally ? any help would be great

you need a square piece of metal with 2 holes at the top and 2 holes at the bottom and just bolt it on

You sure its that simple on the Corssa? The mounting points on the bonnet are at 45 degrees, if you put it on blocks on the hinges will be bent right out.

a bit of metal plate with 4 drilled holes and some longer bolts work's, made some at work
