anyone got any ideas why an x16xe with mantzel style box could be sluggish? i guess it will be some sort of sensor.
when i fitted the mantzel last week the car had so much power! now all that power has vanished and fiat panda 1.1s seem to be whizzing past me.
car feels heavy and slow. when idling engines lumpy too. judders occasionally. dont know if thats anything to do with it?
thanks for any help. i really want to get my corsa working optimally. having nothing but problems lately.

Check that vacuum hoses haven't come off of anywhere is the first thing I'd do.

vacuum hoses are all intact.
only thing was the brake servo hose to the inlet manifold got buckled trying to make it fit to its new location. cant imagine that would affect performance though would it?
brakes are a bit heavy mind.

o down to a scrappers, get yourself,

lambda / oxygen sensor
MAP sensor
CTS
and Air Temp Sensor

normaly this wil fix it all cost me £10 for a air box and all these sensors plus drive belt tensioner pulley last time i went to a scrappers.

also what diameter hose did you use fro the vacume hosing?

i had problems with 4mm as it would become loose on the couplings when the hoses got warm. so got some 3mm ID scylicone hose and soaked the ends in boiling water so they streched easely.

hope that helps

ok. ill try and get my hands on those sensors,
and check wiring. dont think its crank sensor as i replaced it a coupla months ago because car was cutting out mid flight!

err all the vacuum hose i used was the original fitted to the engine.
i just used some 8mm OD hose that i had at all the joints.
seems ok but i will check.

thanks for the help. ;
