Ive just taken a strip of my door and ts gone white underneath in place wtf is it ? and how can i sort it

It's either glue or it's ripped off the paint.
Try some elbow grease & some auto-glym tar remover, should do the job.
Failing that, you can use a caramel wheel, or i think it's called a toffee wheel, not sure.

ah used a toffee wheel and its left rubber reisude . ANy idea how to clean this off ?

All white underneath? Sounds like you've taken the paint off 
Did you heat the strips up before removal?
