Ive had a problem with my ps3 which needs fixed or replaced, i wont go into the fault but ive finally got P***** off with sony so phoned them after I recieved an email saying the management team would phone, I phoned up and it was just a normal phone worker taking details etc, then onto talking about how my warranty had ran out, then i told her a manager was meant to phone me ...... she then said they werent - wtf i had the email in my hand! She then spoke crap saying that the manager will say the exact same thing and that I have to pay £145 for a reconditioned model! I asked to speak to a manager who will phone in 24-48 hours, I know there is manufacturer warrantys for a reason, Im only 17 and cant just cough up £145 from nowhere, What can i say to this "manager" when they phone?!

why dont you just take out that warrenty for £4.99 a month or whatever then in a month ring them tell em its fucked, replaced without question.

i cant as i have already got a new one off them, which they record the serial number. If you have already given them your details and serial number, which they ask for as a rule, your pretty much fucked as they record the number to your address. How long have you had it?

manager wont do anything. Its out of warranty. If you want to try the unfit for purpose card, you need to speak to where you bought it from.

\just off the phne to a supervisor, he said the same thing and was really nice, but im sure they just talk pish, he said all I can do is write to the head office and get the same responce - Bawbags!

Take it up with who you got it from. See how you get on. Wouldnt hold out much hope, but worth a try
