Basically my car failed so bad on it's MOT emissions it needs a new engine, but if I am to change an engine, why not put a larger engine in, what is needed for the upgrade?

It's a lot of work, I found the XE conversion several times easier.

You'll really be looking at finding a doner car for loom etc...
