i had a 1TB drive with vista 64x on in my dell

I bought a 500gb drive and installed vista 64x on it and then used the 1TB drive as a D: drive for user files only

but I forgot to format the 1TB drive so have a few GB of unusable files in folders on there such as Program Files, Windows etc

Vista wont let me delete these folders even though they are not in use

any way around it? I have Winternals but it blue screens on boot up from cd

cheers

drag all files from the 1TB to the 500GB assuming there will be enough space.... Format the 1TB = happy days

Or try taking ownership of the folders? IIRC ... Right click > Security > Advanced > & work it out from there
