Anyone ever had any problems with the standard fuel pressure regulator on an XE, mine seems not to be working properly...

Car is underfuelling badly

Just wondered if anyone has ever been in the same position...

Cheers

Don't think so, the same symptoms occurred in the old converted car - so my thoughts were the regulator is to blame...

What do you think - seems very unlikely to me that two fuel pumps were bust in two seperate cars?

Any other possibilities?

maybe it is the fpr then, you probably wouldn't notice it when your running it in though.

Fuel relay?
Aren't they notorious for cocking up?

Surely if it was the relay the pump wouldn't work at all?

Is that correct? Anyone?
