This page I have made is driving me insane. The hr line break under the menu, it lines up with the content on the right hand side of the page but not on the left and I cant work out why?? Also the 'www.andybutlerart' h2 title isnt completely aligned to the left with the text below it and I cant see why this is? It looks messy and I want to sort it out. I use safari mainly, in firefox the hr break appears differently, how am I going to be able to correct these to make it cross browser friendly?? Thanks.

I've found HRs very difficult to get to work cross browsers, much better to use CCS.
Have you tried creating a div with an border only on the bottom side?

You need to be careful with heading tags too because the browser already has pre-defined values for the font and margin bits. If you're having problems getting it to align it properly then you could try setting the margin to 0px.
