Its fairly easy tbh but you need to do it with depo headlights, the valeo ones are a motherfucker to take apart! Unless you have a shit load of patience and about 3 sets of lights!
Just get a bucket of boling water, and remove all the electrical components ect, headlight levelers, bulbs.
Submerge in the water for about 5 mins give or take, then take a butter knife and gently peel away the glass from the body of the headlight.
One that is removed just take the silver reflective part out, rub down and spray either matt black or gloss black whichever takes your fancy and then just put back together once dry and seal the unit up with some transparent silicone 
Job done

More than likely valeo if there not coming apart, like am4nf said it will be cleary shown at bottom of lense
