Just wandering if it's worth doing. what parts would I need for the conversion. bearing in mind its a 1.6 sport. and roughly how much would it all cost. or would it be better to tune up the 1.6 engine?
bit of an odd question i know.

Thanks.

Nah not odd, fairly common to be honest.

It depends what you would want eventually out of it.

I'd say it be better money/BHP ratio with a redtop but as you've got a 1.6 tuning is very easy also.

The rough price when I was looking for a redtop in my 1.4 sport was around £1500

You could ThrottleBodies the 1.6 and get approx 150BHP (with things like cams and good managment) and that be very responsive.

But the redtop starts life as 150BHP so
