I've read a bit about mantzel inlet manifolds/powerboxes? And similar systems with dbilas andmy question is, would it not have the same effect if I bored my standard inlet manifold out if not then why not? Sorry I'm not very clued up about howthis part of an engine works? Thankyou

Doubt you could bore it out enough, also the mantzel inlet has a 20cm pipe to the filter yet a normal inlet/lexmaul inlet still use the the old intake pipe that goes right behind the engine which is about 60-70cm long at a guess. The mantzel gives you power from 4.5k rpm upwards (need the limiter raised to get full benifits from it where as the lexmaul give you more power low down. Choice is yours.

How do get the limiter raised? And do you know where I can buy one of this inlet manifolds?

Just bought a c20let engine for the corsa what can I expect from it when it's all fitted I'm told it's chipped to around 230bhp? Performance wise what can I expect? Top end? Acceleration? What would I be going up against? Thanks

Ok I'll give it a whirl! Also back on the c20let subject with the engine I have got the ecu, turbo rad interncooler, gearbox, loom and ancillaries, i know I have to buy the custom kit to fit the engine but does anyone know the cheapest way or place to do this? I've been quoted around £450 £500 from courtenay
