Looking at getting a small local unit near me to put my car in so I can work on it etc as its a pain doing it all on the drive.
Had a look on the net but cant really find much.
Came across the City Councils units and there is a few for rent by me, I had a look at the prices but not sure what exactly I have to pay,
Example -
Modern Industrial Units available on FRI leases with the benefit of ‘break’ clauses
Unit No. Size Rental (p.a) Rates Payable 2009/10 (p.a) Service Charge
1 162m2 £7,900 £3,491.99 £1,776.33 (p.a)
2 108m2 £5,900 £2,473.50 £1,185.23
So if I wanted No. 2 for example would I have to pay £9,558.73 per year?
Seems a lot if you do as thats almost £800 a month!

Yep that is right but why do you need something so big? 108m2 is a large unit im sure you caould find one smaller

Yeh deffinitly could its just there isnt much available, and I dont want a normal lock up garage as theres no space to move around in there so any work done on the car you would have to bring it outside which I can do on my drive anyway.

No.2 could fit about 10 cars in which is why it would be so much. Work out how much space you actually need. A normal car park space is about 12.5m2, so how much extra space do you need around it, your more likely to be looking at something around 20/30m2

that first one is like 16m x 10m sqared
thats a business/warehouse size!
