hi just got a 1.4 sport the speedos fine somtimes and then just drops to zero or bounces around, anyone got any thoughts what it could be? thanks in advance

i recently had the same problem on the same model
you might have blown a fuse
check fuse 18 (yellow 20a) in your fuse box bottom right from your steering wheel and check if its blown
if so just replace it for like 50p haha

checked the fuse it wasnt blown replaced it anyway and still no change, could it be the speedo cable?

if its electronic speedo then it wont have a cable mate, and it would start to cut out when slowing down if the speedo dont work 
check wether its a electronc or manuel speedo

it doesnt cut out but it has a slight juder, how would i find out which clocks they are ?

esyest way without getting your hands dirty is to go to a vauxhall dealer and ask them, other wise its a case of removing the battery and loking down ther to see wether a cable is sitting out of the gearbox (not sitting ontop of i mean comming out of) nd if it has its cable if it doesnt then its electronic, someone will be able to tell you a better way im sure
