What OS are you using?

Everything from XP forward has built in zip functionality.

You should be able to right-mouse-click and select extract, as vista has an inbuilt unzip. Is it a zip file, not a rar etc?

Otherwise (if it is a zip file), download >THIS< to your desktop, then drag your zip file onto the app. It might be best to place the unzip app in a folder/directory as it unzips files to where ever that is stored.

For RAR files, download -

>THIS< & >THIS< (right mouse click this link, select All Files, making sure it saves as .bat, not a .txt).

Then just drag drop the rar file onto the .bat file and it'll extract to the directory/folder that both of those files are in.
