As above, for a small company. Got about 7 or 8 machines to upgrade to Windows 7 from various versions of Vista.

Is there a better way that buying 7 copys from say dabs?

Try a Microsoft Action Pack? not sure on the current pricing though

Volume licensing (rather than buying several retail packs).

Thanks chaps, I'll look into volume licencing. I know it's not going to be cheap cheap but at the end of the day it's going to make my adminiostering the network far faqr easier!!

also take a look at MSDN Operating Systems - depending on the machines use etc that might also help

MSDN would be good depending how legal you want them to be, you are technically only supposed to use them for testing.
