just wondering why in general everything is for 16 valve and not the 8 valves? like strut braces why they all say for 16 valve, will they not fit my 8 valve? front or rear?
also engines, if i was to fit a 2.0 litre to my corsa 8 valve would it b somehow easier to fit a 2.0 8 valve then a 16 valve? surely not as ur going to need all mounts regardless :S?
cheers

8v might be easier to fit due to be a bit lighter..
everything else you said is crap :/

It wont be easier to install but it'll be easier to maintain.
IMO it's the more reliable of the two engines and good old 8v engines are SAFE sp if the timing belt snaps, no bent valves

8v and 16v are two completely different engines. I'd say stuff like strut braces are different for 8v engines due to the sheer fact that there's not another cam taking up extra room.
