got some new front brake pads fitted but they dont feel sharp at all!
they also squeal at certain pressure on the brake
this normal?
do they need bedding in or taking back?

Dont brake hard for at least 200miles or u will fcuk them up! They'll feel pretty shit at the moment but when they are bedded in and warmer you'll notice the difference.
When my Red Dot discs and pads were fitted i was well disappointed but a few hundred miles later and they r now superb!!

Don't worry.I fitted some pagid brake pads a while ago and it took about 2-300miles to bed in.They also squealed at a certain pressure.Now they brake great.No heavy braking as Nath said!
