Has anyone on here completed the Three Peaks Challenge?

For those that don't know its starting by climbing Ben Nevis, then driving to Scafell Pike, climbing that then driving to Snowden and climbing that. Which is all to be completed in under 24hrs.

Im planning on doing this around April/May time and just wondering if anyones done this and what they thought of it?
Ill be doing it with a mate instead of joining in on one of the organised treks.

All about it for anyone else interested http://www.thethreepeakschallenge.co.uk/

no, was all ready to do it through work, trained for it and everything and then it got cancelled by work. i was gutted. people who did it the year before said it was really good though. obviously tiring as fuck, and you need a driver between each of the peaks while you catch up on sleep

Some people from my work did it, apparently only two teams finished it in under 24 hours, and we came first I think

If I remeber correctly, the SAS do it by sea/water, sailing down the coast and running inland, up the mountain, down again and back to the boat (repeat three tiems) in 24hours

dad's done it 5 times all for charity,
different routes up them etc.

once a buisness man even lent them his chopper to get them from one to the other etc.

tempted to tag along if he does another.

I suppose you can do it in any time you want, but the official challenge is to do it within 24hrs (most people do it well under though)...
