I know it should be in advice but need a quick answer really!
Basically, just fit a 4 branch on the car. Removed all the exhaust gas recirculator and bunged it off where it would go back into the vacuum pipe.
Also, obviously removed lambda sensor and refit to new manifold. We had a problem with space between lambda sensor and rad, so chopped the wire, removed the metal heat shield from wire. Reconnected wire and tested continuity. Refit it all, started car and management light is on.
Anyone else had this problem and resolved it? Or could it be something to do with the lambda sensor? Any help please?
Car drives as it should though?
Cheers Carl.

Probably fecked up internal resistances etc by shortening wires/remaking connections
Heard a lot of failure stories from Lambda wiring being modified/adapted

Ohhh I see! Is there any way of checking it though? As I don't wanna spill £30 for a new one and it not to be that!
Would the car drive fine if it was dodgy?

Did you fit a janspeed 421 and I think you mean you binned the sai that use to sit in the middle top on oe manifold you should not have cut the lambda as it fits ok with janspeed is your one single wire? Do paperclip test and see if its the lambda thats giving fault code. only way to test lambda is with osiliscope.

Nah don't think it's a janspeed mate. Was just on ebay. Mild steel one, second hand brand new if you know what I mean. Just been to scrappr for a lambda, just to see if it is that. If it still stays on I'll do the paperclip test, cause obviously it could be dodgy from other car.
Cheers.
