a friends corsa broke down last night, he said his eps light just came on and the car cut out. we got the car home and have just fired it up and it runs ok but as soon as it's warm it cuts out. any ideas, i'm thinking its a sensor or somthing

Crank sensor at a guess. I remember reading about a problem where they go open circuit when they get hot.
I'm guessing it's an x10/12xe?
