Hey, my car is seriously over fueling, ive checked all the air intake system, and there is nothing wrong with the pipes, i dont know how to check the fuel system but I dont think it is anything to do with the fuel...
When i started it idles really sloppy, couuld be icv but I cant find it for the life of me ive looked all around the throttle body, could anyone point me in the right direction?
It wont idle for very long and it dies, but the last two times i let it die it sounded like it was wheezing, like it was struggling to get air, i dont know what else to check and im stuck! i dont want a garage to make me do an open cheque book because im broke!

sounds like egr valve to me but your icv is in your throttlebody down the right hand side of your engine. u need to take off the top bit of ur inlet( the big metal bit that looks like 4 pipes ontop of ur engine) and then u will see where it is.

ur egr valve is at the back right hand side of ur engine and is a **** to get to. the best way to get to that is by removing the battery and the coolant bottle and having thin thin arms and hands.

first off do a paper clip test to tell you the stored codes the eml dont have to stay on permenently for codes to be stored.
The egr is a bit of a bugger to get to, im thinking of making some blanking plates for it tbh to fit between the egr and the head so you dont have to remove it and relocate the bugger.
The vacume hoses on the 14/16 engines go like crazy so i would just give them another going over to be 100% sure they are ok.
The icv is common to go as well, your best bet is to do a paper clip test so you dont start throwing money at the thing un nessaserely.

Even the paperclip test arnt always right, mine still says EGR when it was replaced with a known working one.
Sounds like ICV anyway, that or TPS
