i've put a x16xel engine out of an mk3 astra in my corsa b and all was good until I noticed it's drinking oil really bad and it chucking black smoke out but seem to drive and run fine just uses sh*t loads if oil.. thinking it might be the rings I done a compression test and each pot has around 200ish so I'm sure it's the valve steam seals so I've bought a c16xe head off a mate and plan to put it on to see if it cures the problem. Just wanted to ask if they go straight on and if the cam pulleys will be the same as the xel because the kid has snapped one of the lug things off so the cam sensor wont work also can I use the same mangment and inlet?
