hi. just wondering if someone can tell me the difference between the F18 and the F20 gearboxs.

is f18 a 5spd and the f20 a 6spd? i have never used these so i dont no but i think that may be the difference

no there both 5 speed gearboxes. iirc its the ratio's what are different, the f18 will be better of the line but lower top end and vice versa

im lookin for it to go on my v6. just wondering which one will be better. its just going to be a weekend toy and wont be driven on motorways. i can get hold of the F18 very cheaply from a mate so was just thinking about using this

f20 mate any lower ratio and ul be changin gear every second!

f18 is a longer ratio box than the f20.
