ive got 1.2 corsa b.

had problems with it for last few months, no power and eml coming on when driving, then if i took my foot off the accelerator for it bit it would return to normal.

on startup i would also have to build up the revs before setting off otherwise the car would not move.

today i turned it on and its reving on tickover by itself and does not drive, almost like the accelerator doesnt work.

i think i need a new air flow meter can anyone else confirm this? or even better have one for sale.

The no power bit would be an AFM but it should still drive but very badly.

alright so i changed my afm and most of the problems have gone (ie. i am able to drive it)

but it still has some problems:
- sometimes revs by itself when coming to a stop
- looses power when driving, until i rev the accelerator a bit

what else could it be? maybe i just need to reset the ecu?

There is a way to clean the icv valve, and save a few bob. It is on the following link, you have to join it first. Look in the faqs, all info is there.
