Ok, I wonder if anyone could help me.
say there's this 2 channel amp, 200 watts per channel, and its brideable to 500 watts
and u run 2 subs in bridged mode in parellel, does each sub get 500 watts?
if not what does each sub get and does that mean it goes down to a 2 ohm load, if so how do u get it to a 1 ohm?.
if not does that mean everything is b0ll0xd?

the subs will get half of the 500 watts each if they are the same rating and wired in paralell.
If the two subs are 4 ohm it will bring it to a 2 ohm load in paralell. If you want a 1 ohm load, add 2 more 4 ohm speakers. Or for the tidier choice, get two 2 ohm subs instead, wire them in paralell, and u should get 1ohm.

If the amp is not stable to 1 ohm, then the magical smoke that powers the amp will get out and the amp will not work anymore....
Keep that in mind.

yes I was kinda, thinkin this austin, I dunno y i used a normal 2 channel amp, so thats y u want mono blocks that go to being 1 0hm stable, and if u use two 2 ohm subs then that takes it down to a 1ohm in parallel, is that correct?
