if you wanted to install forza 2 and mw2 on the disk at the same time, you'll need 13.6GB alone just for those two games. add an extra 1.9GB if you've got disc 2 of Forza 3 (total; 15.5GB). you only get 12-13GB of usable space with the 20GB drive (after it's formatted), so you'll want to go for the 60gb drive.

iirc they fetch around £40 and above, eBay is probably the best place.

he doesnt need to install the games, infact theres little difference really when you do, slightly faster load times on some games.

so 20gig is fine, and yes ebay is cheaper.

It brings down loading times (even if it's hardly anything in some cases), noise and laser wear. For the sake of an extra £20, I'd much rather buy a bigger hard drive and have the games installed, for the above reasons.

Ahh but if you play halo, loading times are slower.

Halo

Personally, I'd go for a larger than 20GB drive, or just install the game each time you want to play it

You could get a 60GB for about 20 quid on eBay.
