hay all basicaly went to do the cam belt on my 14xe and got it all stripped appart and went to undo the tnsioner and its siezed solid and now its eaten the head off the torx bolt.. Any ideas what i can do to remove the bloody thing? I dont know wether i can put a trolly jack under the engine and lower it down enough to smash a t45 in it.. Need help quickly

i have one. Even tryed putting a t45 and smashing it in and it wont go.. They aren't left haded thread are they.

Nope, don't think so. It's rounded with the T45 too?!

no i cant get the t45 in there no matter how hard i hit the thing... Will give it anoter go in a minute as im stressed out of my mind atm... Bloody car

No normal way thread.... try use and allen key socket if you got any

had the same problem when i did the water pump on my old x16xe.. ended up using a hammer and a flat bladeed driver to free it off

well its now off, ended up fecking my t45 but it came off.. All back togeter again but i think the timing is off as it makes a nice metal on metal noise when you turn the engine over... Annoying thing is it turn't over fine by hand... Bloody car
