my engines not well it seems to make a ticking or banging noise from the cam belt it happened a while ago and the cam belt nearly snapped and all the little teeth from the cam belt were falling off now its done it again after about 5 months even when a new cam belt was put on the engine didnt sound good and now it needs a new belt again, is there any reason its doing it and what can be done.
also my car seems to drink alot of petrol, driving really slow and not doing high revs it does about 90miles to a tenna its only a 1.2 8v p reg corsa with 55k miles what are corsa's ment to do for fuel?

u may have fecked the tappets, valve etc, when the cambelt went, is it like a tapping noise.
