Need to clean my courtney sport panel filter.

Have the oil to re-oil it once its cleaned, but can I use soapy water or something to clean it? Dont really want to fork out £12 for some cleaning spray for it.

Im sure soapy water is ok, as long as its left to dry out. I think the cleaning fluid is more or less water with some detergent in it anyway
