I'm trying to contact somebody about an allotment, I've been trying the number that is given for them for the last few days, every time after several rings it then starts making noises, they sound like when I used to phone people who were on the internet on their 56k modems. Would I be right in thinking that this noise could be the phone machine at their end thinking the call is a fax and trying to answer it?
If so is anybody able to send a quick few sentence fax on my behalf? I've tried some of the 'free' email to fax services but they all seem to send you round in circles or have to enter card details to do a 30day trial etc

Thanks, just by coincidence I've this minute had an email back from a different allotment site so don't need it sending any more. Cheers anyway
