I assume its a wallpaper type thing right? I like the idea. Maybe if you got rid of the shiny pillows I might like it a bit more.
I like the headboard/shelve bit though - thats cool

Yeah its a mural, 8 panels in total, had to cut each one down but still get it to match.
Bearing in mind its only a bed and a wall at the mo it should take some emphasis off the wall once we get some furnishings in there like bedside lamps, vase's, picture frames, mirror's etc. At least thats what im hopeing, option two is paint the wall matt grey and put a big new york canvas above the bed.

Ah the Malm range from Ikea.
We got it in Dark Brown, without the side tables planning to get them at a later date, they stopped making Dark Brown now, fuckers. Had to get walnut instead, looks all right, but I can still tell!
Went for a foam matress too which is comfy as hell
I like the idea for the wall, maybe could of done with a less busy image though? Although like you said with more stuff in there it might take away from it.

Yeah good old Ikea. We wanted a floating effect bed but they were like £3000 so we settled for this, lol. We kept our old matress but we need a new one as it's too small,do you recomend the Ikea ones then? This one is brown-black but it's black tbh, I did notice they don't do a brown anymore. I wanted to get the super king but glad I went with the king now.
The mural was less busy with more black sky but had to cut a lot of it off. Tbh it does look better in real life than a rubbish phone picture. The mrs has now stuck diamontes to it, on the lights so it twinkles as she said it looked too much like a batchelor pad

Haha, so now it's a girls room. Doh!
Yeah, we didn't get memory foam as we both move loads in our sleep so didn't see the point, so saved £100 or so and just went with a normal foam one, it's really good, and recommended

i've got that bed but opted for the drawers rather than the side tables that come with it. Got a matress from IKEA to go with it and i've had it a few years now and cant fault it.
IKEA stuff is weird sizing so they kinda have you by the balls. Once you buy something from there you have to get everything to go with it from there an all. Apparently as it is a Scandanavian brand, and folk are generally bigger over there, there king size is bigger than a UK king size to compensate. Thats what I was told when I was buying mine anyways

Yeah we saw the side tables with drawers in but we have built in wardrobes so don't need anymore storeage although you'd think so they way the mrs hoards stuff
Think we will go for an Ikea matress then, heard nothing but good things about them, are the £179? Nearly as much as the bed

our bed frame was £110, think the mattress was £180-200 odd! Worth going down to test them out though, we tried all kinds before settling on the one we got, was a more firm kind of foam, luckily that was cheaper too
