Coolant -

Haynes says undo the thermostast bleed screw - i dont have one - so ive read on here somewhere about running it up to temp with the expansion tank cap off

Will this work? Not advisable?

Head Gasket -

Ive also read on here about running it in (but cant find it now?) Any advice on what, how long, how hard?

i've done that to help get rid of air in system.

also have the interior fans on hot and full power as this helps circulate the water.

then just as the water in bottle bubbles up to top i stick the cap back on
