Hey, this problem started randomly yesterday. The car is making a ticking sort of noise when i accelerate and it gets faster the faster i go. It sounds asif there was a stone in the tyre. I have a 1.4 8v corsa b. Any suggestions???
It does this in every gear aswell but not when its idle

sounds like tappets to me, my old corsa used to drive me wild with the noise

check oil levels. Try thicker oil

Fixed: Needed a new exhaust gasket

if the ticking speeds up with your car not your revs then it certainly aint ya engine?? as revs are up and down through the gears have you got tie raps on ya c.v gaiters?
