"Quality" is largely irrelevant, the hard disks in all of them is the important bit and they're all as good as each other.
Depends what you want. The one you've posted is a slim 2.5" HDD so its powered by USB, so v. portable
The one at comet is 3.5" and requires mains power, so its more chunky but more GB/£
Decide which size you want then get the biggest you can afford/need.

As above, most drives have WD or Seagates in them anyway.

I bought a western digital one which is a well established name and it broke after a week so be careful

We use Seagate at work (IT Tech support) and they dont miss a beat. Cope with everything we throw at them.
We use te 3.5 inch 1TB model similar to that

Still irrelevant, a seagate or hitachi drive would have been just as likely to fail/ not fail. Sometimes you just get a duffer.

um just take the harddrive out and plug is straight into your computer, failing that get another usb caddy and plug it in, can get them for like £5 off ebay.
And both mf my 500g western digital drives died after less than a year stay well clear seriously.

how do i lug it in though
it is the actual plug on the board on the harddrive that you plug the lead into
is there another plug on the harddrive somewhere?

no the part that plugs into the computer is just a case like the one above, the harddrive is just a square box basically that plugs into the inside cables of the case/enclosure.
its very simple to remove the harddrive and plug it into a new enclousure, yours would just simply slide into the new case, the case below would fit yours fine.
