No, you can use any song as long as you use one of the guides on the internet. You have to convert it to AAC, then make it 30 seconds long and change the file extension.

I downloaded a program called iringer, you just open the song, trim the 30 seconds you want and tell it to convert, think it even puts it on the phone for you too
