i have been having problems with my engine, the oil light comes on when sitting at idle but as soon as you lift the revs it goes out. so far i have replaced the oil pump and pressure switch so that eliminates those can anyone shed some light on what it could be ??? thanks

Try basics first mate as you have already replaced the pressure switch I'll leave that out but are you sure you have enough oil in? Revving up will obviously fly oil around your engine meaning the light will go out, checked your dipper? Failing that I'd perhaps look at wiring (snags tears hot points ect) have you recently done an oil change incl new filter?

Yeah new oil and filter on the fri befor I changed the oil pump and yes oil level to the top mark.

Ran engine flush last nite and removed sump and oil pickup cleaned them and put them back now no oil getting to top end what do I do

ttt for more help for scott, car still not getting any oil to the top end & sounds tappy as fuck, last night he moved the car turned it off & when trying to restart it, engine wouldnt turn
