Yeah, cheers sam.
Just wondered as there is a lot of G5's on ebay with board faults. Can be had for anywhere between £40-150.
Anyone had any experience with them?

Are you asking how easy are logic boards to replace in a G5 iMac? They aren't too bad, a bit of pissing around stripping it down as you have to remove near enough everything before you can lift out the board (a fair amount of screws as well).
Whether or not it's worth it is another question though as G5's are getting on a bit, plus the cost of the G5 and new logic board would equal to the price of an Intel Mac Mini.

If you are shit hot at repairing motherboards (i.e. soldering, replacing chips/capacitors etc.) then you will probably make some good money repairing Mac boards as they cost lots of money to replace compared to PC equivalents.
