Astra, Cav, Calibra rears will be fine.
Most vaux rears will do to be fair.

Need plates welding on to the rear beam. Unless your car is a full time track car, its prob not worth switching to discs.

Are there any larger drums that fit?
Does the car tend to nosedive or kick the tail with larger fronts and standard rears?

Mine never did with 2.0L brakes on.
Would kick the back out if you have lowered it without sorting the rear bias valve out though

Its either on your chassis above the rear beam and connected to it or the other way round.
When you load the car up it moves the valve letting more pressure to rear brakes to compensate for the extra weight.
When you lower your car it maked the valve think its got some fatties in the back and applies more braking pressure which can cause the back end to kick out.
Jack it up and disconnect the valve (not the pipes obv) you'll understand when you see it,
