Right been a while since Ive been on here, been at uni now studying auto engineering w/motorsport
My problem is whenever I get above 2000revs I get a high pitch whining noise as if I had a turbo! (which i dont lol) coming from the transmission. Any ideas on going about figuring out what is wrong and how to fix it?
Havnt got time to really have a look at it atm but need to know its not something serious that needs looking at asap.

gearbox syncro or something like that? It's not an area I know a lot about so there's every possibility that's wrong

Oil in the box? Check the level (Use a haynes manual), and fill if needed. But it could already be funked.

Won't be release bearing if it's doing it while it's driving.
