c20xe, ive read a few threads saying that they dont need it. Just want to be safe not sorry for the sake of £25

Well it's about the fact that you're going to be adding all that extra weight over the front. Unless you were planning on going for a high power LET there's literally no point.

if front panel is clean and in good solid condition id leave it as it is. if its a bit old and rusty looking, clean it up and fit the plates.

tbh, for the sake of doing it, i just would.
