Trying to uninstall Limewire Toolbar, as we don't use it anymore, we've got rid of Limewire itself, but it wont allow us to remove this. Comes up with an eror message:

All Internet browser windows should be closed in order to complete the uninstallation. Please close all Internet Explorer browser windows. Click OK if you are ready to proceed with uninstallation.

Nothing else is open except the Add or Remove Programme window which can't be closed. Any Ideas?

Do ctrl +alt + del and go on the processes tab. Not sure what browser you're using, but you'll be looking for iexplore.exe, chrome.exe, etc. Then end process on that. Could be related to some kind of spyware tho imo.

just un-install IE completely and start again? Or reboot the machine and don't touch IE... go straight to add/remove and see if it makes a difference

@loafofbrett; Tried uninstalling it in safe mode, still no luck.

@Gaz: I've tried the reboot and ignored IE and went to add/remove programmes but still coming up.

Go to "run" enter "regedit" and go to software, look for anything relating to it and delete.
