My xbox is liked up to my 1080p TV via HDMI and I stream films from my laptop to it. If theoretically I downloaded a Blu Ray 1080p rip and streamed it to my TV, would it play in 1080p quality?

BR is MKV file, ive got a converter to convert it to AVI so xbox can play it...apparently without quality loss.
