I teach an elderly lady once a week, and whenever I go round her Google or whatever other page is zoomed in pretty far. I just Ctrl & 0 it to get it back to its proper size....
Now, i've always thought it was her presssing Ctrl and scrolling in with the mouse or something by accident, but when I was there yesterday, I restarted the browser and it was zoomed back in, on Google, eBay and others.
This is using Google Chrome by the way, uninstalled it, reinstalled it and still the same is happening.
Got me a little puzzled tbh, so any ideas??
Thanks!

Chrome does this with me on certain websites. My theory is that it has something to do with the new PDF viewer they've built into it.

Does resetting the settings to default do anything?

Does this happen with other browsers like IE, or even other applications like Word etc.?

Nope, just literally chrome. Also on random websites such as ansestryuk etc....
She's not even bothered, and hasn't even noticed! It's the fact I know its wrong bothers me, and I cant think what it is. I even installed an older version of chrome, then updated. Still the same!

Hmm... I know with Chrome there is an 'extension' called AutoZoom or some shit where you can set this up, if it's installed that might be messing it up and probably not being removed when you uninstall Chrome.
[controversy]
Tell her to just use a proper browser like Firefox.
