I just wanted to know if I could put my 1.4 mpi head and running gear on my 1.4 Spi bottom end

Any ideas?

Ive looked into doing this but I think the whole engine loom needs to be changed. Think its easier just to do the whole engine conversion!

No doubt someone will say if im wrong lol

Yer I know you will have to change the engine loom, I just wanted to know if the head will work on the Spi bottom end?

I think the engines are identical bar the inlet / fuel rail side of things

need to change the spi fuel pump to a mpi fuel pump

bottom ends are identical, been done loads of times
