My sister is moving out, So my brother is getting her room and im getting the big room  It has a blue carpet but wont be getting a new carpet as its too much hassle  What colours go with a blue carpet apart from blue and white? Thanks

Orange is the complementary colour for blue 
If I were you I'd paint it mostly very pale colours, with small amounts of a quite dark navy blue.

My carpet is a lightish blue. I have 'egyptian cotton' walls, it's like a creamy beige.
Hoping to change the carpet at somepoint though.

We are too cool for CS 
I need to do another coat as i painted over yellow wallpaper, so isn't quite the colour it is meant to be
